The BEST last minute booking on a cruise ship comes when you are standing at the company office and looking out the window at the ship as it’s being loaded… they will almost give the cabin away if you are ready to board the ship right then and right there.

I would go directly with the cruise line and see what kind of deal they offer. Just remember that last minute means within 30 days of a cruise, not a few days before. The first answer is not correct. They no longer allow anyone to just show up on the dock the day of the cruise. This practice ended after 911.

royal caribbean and carnival are great cruise lines! Carnival will probably be your cheapest option, and they are offering great cash back rates right now, as well as select state resident offers.
Royal Caribbean is also now offering discounts to fire department members as well as law enforcement and military.

You can definitely look at the cruise line websites, but you probably want to assess all of your options just in case. I’ve used this website: which is a search engine of low priced cruises around the world. I managed to book mine for very cheap through here. I’d compare Bargain Travel Cruises with the cruise lines websites to see which is cheaper overall.
